RESIDENTS STUCK IN THE MUD WITH LABOUR FOR TOO LONG...
This week our candidate for Langley Kedermister, Meena Sharma visited the school run outside of Ryvers School in Langley along Trelawney Avenue to meet with residents concerned about the appalling state of the green verges and parking in general around the school.
The photos taken by Meena show the impact of not having a sustainable parking solution in place. Residents told Meena that on several occasions they had approached local Labour councillors in the ward about the issue, but had achieved nothing - they had simply been ignored. Even Cllr Preston Brooker, as a governor at the school, seems not to have been able to find a solution that helps residents.
Meena is determined to help residents put pressure on the Labour run-council to find a solution after years of letting the problem go on and on - so is now keen to hear what residents think and what ideas they might have - so please take part in our survey and share your thoughts.
